hi people i have a 1978 ltd and i just want to know if the 351 clevo in it is any good. its got me thinking cause on a sticker in the engine bay it says " family group 5.8 4v" and i dont know what 4v stands for another thing is that on the block at the front it has a little square which is flat and on it a 4 is stamped if anyone know how to tell if the engine has a 4 bolt main or is a actul 4v engine.

I gather it means you have 4v heads.

Someone correct me if im wrong - does it also mean it has a 4ma crank in it also?

4V heads are awesome......I had 4V's in my 351 XA ute and man did it go hard.
