ok whats the go when you change from 15s to larger size rims.
1. does it put the speedo out
2. what do you have to do if your speedo is out

Nothin needs to be changed but the size and height of the tyre.

Use this calculator to type in the factory tyre your car was made with to find out what you need for bigger rims to keep the outside diameter the same...

Bigger rim = less tyre. A 18" wheel and low profile tyre should be the same size as a 15" wheel and tyre.

i had 205/65/r15 standard and now i have 235/45/r17's and there basicly the same.

I just went from 225/50/16 up to 235/40/18 and there is only a 2.2% difference in overall diameter. My speedo reads a couple of kays too slow.

Enough to get pinged for speeding in Victoria.. :roll:
