are these actually better for the strip? what kinda size would fit on a standard 14 or 15 inch rim? im fed up of not being able to stall up at the line and chirping into second im sure this will help my time?

Hell yeah they work. they are a different compund for one, wear faster but grip better (thats generally the trade off). Micky Thompson seem to be the choice of most VL drivers , but they do have a good rep. www.vpw.com.au stock them and have them on the site for u to check out, dont listen to the prices they wuote tho they always put the net proces way up for some reason, if your keen give em a ring

they will have a lot of you are having traction problems.
Should be able to purchase slicks from any tyre place - bob janes, bearepaires, jax etc etc. You might want to consider a semi slick road legal tyre.

you would be better of trying BFG drag radials, as they are treaded for street and let you keep your normal tyres on the front instead of having to run nylon(rag) tyres.

before i put the mags on i had standard hubs what kinda size could i squeeze on them? i could get either 14's or 15's.
