I was asked a question today, and I couldn't answer it 100%.

I know with usual acl gaskets (not monotorque) you can retension after a random period of time.

However can you do an AU or an E series with AU gasket?.

The usual way of loosen one at a time and retension? or just crack each bolt up a bit?

Anyone done it on our beloved 6's?

The head bolts are TTY bolts therefore you should not re-tension them.

Apply a decent amount of hylomar to the gasket before fitting it and it will be good for 100,000 + km's

i wasn't aware that ACL made a non-monotorque version of there headgasket for the I6 due to the TTY headbolts.
