I want to replace the dash lights in my BA with blue LED along with the centre command centre. i have a custom install of my headunit sitting below it and it glows blue so i wish to colour code

anyone got any ideas on how i can do this

change the cluster and ICC face with XR6 ones?
ive not ever looked but id expect the ICC led's would be a prick to change

I have changed the LEDs in my old cluster just for a bit of fun, not very hard to do and am going to change the ones in the icc one day.

You need to get SMD LEDs for this, and you have to make sure you have a fine tipped soldering iron. With the cluster you have to take it out and pretty much take everything apart on it to get to the LEDs. Soldering them should take about 30min if you know what your doing. Just make sure you dont put heat on them for too long cos you can melt the LEDs.

apparently i heard that ford sell coloured inserts to replace the originals
