is it true if i remove the heat shield over my exhaust that it wil reduce power..
should i go a head and remove the heat sheild fabric on the inner side of my bonet. i think that it may become flamable. by doing any of the above am i modifying my car so i won't pass a RWC test. need to know if it is ok and a good idea.

more than half the people here dont have the heat shield over their exhaust, because they have aftermarket extractors and have no probs

why would they put flamable material on bonnet? even if it is flammable my alarm speaker is a puddle now as ive got extractors with no shield, and my bonnet carpet stuff is in perfect condition with 236,000 km on the car.

alot of e series cars have no sound deadening under the bonnet. removing the heat shield, unless you are putting extractors on the car, why bother, it looks better than the stock headers anyway.
