apart from holding idle and surging up n down ,,just as the revs go to settle when stopped at the lights it sounds like a puff of air from airfilter and the revs kik up when it does..it sorta comes outa rythum from the motor,,if u get what i mean....dizzy?

What car is it? timing? leads , plugs, ISC, air filter clean, could be a number of things. When was the last time it had new plugs leads etc, ned more info.

eb2 xr6 with worked el engine, sparkplugs hv been in bout a year,,havnt checked the gaps tho,,air filter is a pod in a box and is clean,and got the leads when i got the plugs ..it was doin the same with my old leads too.

i have tried resetting computer and timing and idle countless times to no avail..if thr is a vac leak i cant find it ,,sik of the piece of sh*t ..seems everyone gets idle problems and everything seems to cause it..yet u can get a corolla and thrash it an it wil still idle sweet,,not that id ever drive a front wheel drive,,if i cant solve it in 6mnths then im outa the ford game..it just feels like a waste of money and time to have a car that is soo fickle
