The rolling diametre of the tyre should be the same as your original so you should be fine. Just remember the car wont react the same with different tyres on each side. Just take it easy and you should be fine

Unless its the space saver type spare youre fine. Lucky Aussie made cars dont use that type of spare so it will be fine as long as the spare doesnt get a puncture !!

I did a similar amount of kms with a different sized spare on the car and the diff (LSD) didnt like it. It clunked like a b**ch whenever I pulled to a stop.
Got the proper wheel and tyre back on and no more clunking. So id suggest running the spare on the front.

LSD's can be worn out a lot quicker by having two different setups. |

New commodores only get a full size spare if u pay extra for it.
Ford sell XR6's with only 16" spares, however they also recommend a maximum speed of 80km/hr with it fitted |

got home alright. when i took rim to tire shop before i knew it was cracked i paid for a new tire and they didn't check for cracks (even though the sidewall was blown out). I went back and got them to give me a chaser rim and tire.
Was stuck untill monday but it all worked out.
