Spanner light comes back on after power off

Hey, i got an interesting one...

My trip meter is locked on 563.3kms, i can reset it, but it goes back to that as soon as i turn the car off.

Also, i can reset the service spanner light, but once again, it comes straight back on when the ignition is turned back off.

Is there any reason for this ?, is it trying to tell me something ?

Any help would be GREAT

yeah it resets fine to 0km and the spanner disappears, but then as soon as the ignition gets turned off and back on it goes back to 563.3km and the spanner is surely back on

Any other ideas? or is this a replacement cluster

turn igion on while holdind the trip button then hold it till the spanner flashes then let go od the trip button
