Can't see why not, just takes money. Theres a guy up here that has a C4 (manualised) behind his turbo 6 in a VL Commo, coz the original 4sp autos would keep breaking.

I have a C4 behind my EF 347, fits in nicely and super tuff box.

It is possible, but why not use the BTR 4 speed? For the cost of converting to c4, you can get a tough 4 speed built. |

The btr 4 speedsd are to weak and if you put shift kits in them they are easy to break parts, C4 's are much stronger and u can do a whole lot more with them

Mate, if you get the BTR built properly it will last, and we've never had any issue with a shift kitted BTR breaking bits, there are cars running 11 sec 1/4 miles with the BTR's you just need to go see someone who knows what they are doing with the boxes.
C4's are no stronger unless you spend $ on them, end of the day its going to cost you the same. |

66 coupe i totally agree with ya, BTR's only break if they are BADLY looked after, i did 70,000 roughly on my BTR box, ALWays shifting, even did neutral drives (i was angry at times) skids into second, i had a cooler and had it serviced once then that car was written off, but it was on 230,000 and that box was gold.
people lose faith in the BTR because they buy a falcon with 200 on the clock and the auto hasnt run a cooler or had a service and wonder why they break. imagine not changing the engine oil over that period, i would image a similar result.
