Just wondering if someone could give me some advice for removing the door trim from an ef fairmont. Is it just a matter of pulling it upwards really hard after removing the screws?????

You have undo the screws on the arm rest and door handle yes?

You will just have to pull it really hard and work it out. It can be a pain sometimes to get off

Undo the screw around the outline of the door trim. Pry off the small covers for the door handle screws and door latch, under screws.

Pull door latch off the metal rod and remove. Lift door trim up while holding the top of it securely or the pieces might separate. When door trim is off dont pull away until you lower it a bit so you can unscrew the door lock knob and lift off the plastic door lock rod.

When lifting the door trim off, it will either come off and leave the window guide behind or it will come up with it, depending on how hard it is to remove.
