ahh thanks guys. but when you run both subs off a single channel, say a 400wrms at 4ohms, do u effectively only get about 200wrms going to each as the power is split?

Nope, you are halving the impedance. So you end up with a 2 ohm circuit and 700wrms into the 2 subs. So 350wrms per sub.
That's for 2 single voice coil 4ohm subs. |

The MonoBlock comes with two speaker terminals which are internally wired in parallel.
