hey all, i should be picking up the NC II Fairlane this weekend, but it has air shocks in the rear which arnt that old. now i want to lower the car to super superlows and was wondering if the ait shocks would cope with it or will the pump be forever on trying to lift the car back to stock height?
i have a new set of shocks here (stock) and want to know if its worth putting them in as i like the feel of the air shocks over the cheap stock ones |

Won,t work. need to disarm self-levelling and replace shocks, coils and fit new bumpstops.

The stock self leveling suspension has to be disabled/removed. Being a fairlane you should use heavyduty lowered springs to accomidate the extra weight. Would also be wise to install shortened shocks as you are going with superlows. If the new shocks dont come with bump stops you can use the original ones but regardless you must use bump stops.
