which is why they have a different rr. you can get decent au cams, surecam do custom turbo grinds as do many other companies. several people i know have bought surecam billets and now wont get anything else.

it many make the turbo spool up a little bit faster but ur not gonna notice it that much...and the butterfly's will become so much of a restriction up high ull b robbing urself of power..
there is a reason y ford didnt use bbm on the xr6t

robbin high end hp? theres a guy in perth making 516hp atw with a standard bbm, with the butterflys still in....

yeh after stevs car making 516rwhp(380rwkw) on 12psi, i cant see the butterfly's being much of a restriction or the whole bbm setup.

we need someone to do before and after dyno with the BBM fully functional and then with butterflies removed.
i imagine there would be some top end gain to be had.
just because someone can make 380rwkw with them doesn't mean they won't make 390rwkw without ;)

but in a street car that slightly better off boost responce is certainly beneficial.

if he took them out hed probly get even more....
i noticed a big difference up high....reved out quicker n easier the was a clear ( push in the back ) difference

yes true, but 380 rwkw is an exclent efort for a completly stock manifold.
my car will be getting tuned on tuesday, i may have a chance to test it then.
