Ok i replaced the globe, now this is really weird to me...
When i put the lights on parkers, there are no lights... the light doesnt show at all... So there must be something wrong with the relay or something
can anyone point me in the right direction as i am almost certain this is the problem.

it almost looks like the rhs is on 'high beam'. anyone point me in the right direction?

can it be linked to my lhs brake light not working? (has anyone got diagrams on how to remove the taillights to replace globe? thanks)

Dodgy or corroded electrical connections?
Why not just replace the taillight globe and then see if that is related? I don't see the globe being hard to do, you prolly just open the boot remove and plastic pannel, remove the globe holder and remove globe from that.

Check the aligment on the headlight assemblies. The rhs might be aimed too high which will look like high beam.

thats what i thought.. but basically when i press high beam... the light doesnt change brightness... the other side does though.. and when u let go.. it stays the same on the right, and the left changes back to original.

there only single filament globes (h1 in outter and H3 in inner) in each housing so it should not change when you go from high beam to low beam. When your on low beam the outside housings should be illuminated, when you turn on high beam, the outside housings should remain illuminated as they were before, the only difference being that the inner housings are now also illuminated.

ok.. driving home today... the left side is out completely! so i might have to change the globe

*update...
changed the globe, and both work.. however i have no lights when i put the parkers on (middle setting on switch), but the driving lights work so thats all i care about..

any idea why my parkers arent on? ive checked relays but not much luck there

*** I have exactly the same problem. replaced new globes last night. and now the parkers dont work???

check you fuesh under the bonnet my car would put my normal driving lights on then when i put my highs on alll lights dissapeared its most of a time a relay

Check that you haven't accidently knocked the plug off the parkers when replacing the headlight globes.
