Where abouts on the block would you find the engine number for an AU series six ???

I've been all over it with the torch, but can only find one number on the right rear bottom edge of the block..

31H8 WR2A 6015 A8 ???

Any suggestions...

should be on the back hump drivers side, where the lower bolt for the bell housing mates too.
