Well ive had the manual in my car for about 2 weeks now so much fun.
Are there any issues with keeping the auto ecu, so far only issue it has is on start up it revs to 2,000RPM, and searchs for idle a bit as if it has a lumpyish cam. Just any issues anyone has had with them, i should know this, but i dont have access to the computer hookup for the ecu anymore.

i have been running the auto ecu for a year now and not any problems, it occassionly hunts for revs once in a blue moon though not as much now as it use too, i am trying to track down a xr6 ecu without luck but got a mate at wreckers looking for me though

Sweet as mate, yeah the wrecker where i got it installed, was speaking to him said you dont actually need the manual ecu, waste of money. But if i need it he got one for me. So easy to install, using their tools and hoist.

I am running mine with the auto. Seems to work fine besides the hickup with the rev drops when i push the clutch in. Is slowly correcting itself overtime though so that's a good sign.
If you have the spare money you can always go with a Manual ECU...can't do any harm. phong =P~
