just wondering if someone would have a photo of how the clutch cable connects to the pedal....have a feeling im missing something lol im using mal wood pin if that makes a difference

No photo but there is a clevis that attaches to the pedal that then pulls on the cable.

from mem the clutch cable has a d-link setup for the pedal? i used a big paper clip to fasten mine as i didnt have a proper pin.

i found with the original clevis i kept braeking them with the big clutch.

i made one from a bit a 20mm x 10mm steel bar.

it's on the car right now but i'll rip it off a get some pics if anyone is interested. I also made about 5mm shorter to help with a problem i was having after fitting the yellaterra steel flywheel and V8 exedy sportstuff clutch to my XR6

im real sorry guys please ignore my stupidity !.....i meant to ask about the other side of the clutch cable....where exactly on the gearbox the clips are or watever.

i know its meant to go to the clutch fork but!...................i know fuk all about manuals and the clutch fork im presuming on a ea box is the gold thing poppin outta the side of the box? well yeh i got that but its just got a round hole at the end of it, nothin for the cable to hook on tto? sorry if its hard to understand someone please help!!!!!!

there is a hole in your clutch fork... a rubber backed hook goes in that hole sorta like your thumb would but with a hook at the end...

i couldnt find one doing my manual conversion, fruad has them from mem it was like $13, ask for a clutch for hook, they should understand you.

your missing the dampener,
its a round metal sleeve with rubber in it with a hook for hthe cable.

ok thanks heaps for that i now no all i need 2 buy is spigot bearing and thafkn hook/dampener thing. one other question is for red roo i noticed u have a mal wood pin did urs come with the plate? its obviously 2 strengthen the pin ?.....i dont have a hole for the plate so have 2 drill it...so much 4 it takes 2minutes 2 bolt on!!! lol

Mine is a second hand older style mate I am looking into getting the plate made for it though.
