a mate of mine with an EF + Full JMM DEV 5 kit recently had one installed. Pre unichip it pulled 145 rwkw, after the unichip was installed it made about 167rwkw, this was same day same dyno. So yeah he has very good results. Also before he had the unichip installed the previous owner had it on the JMM dyno @ 174 rwkw  also ran a 14.5 at some stage before the unichip.

He's keen to give it a run down the 1/4 now. I've got a unichip too but not installed yet, going to wait untill I have a few more things done to my car save having to get it retuned all the time.

What you mention Damo sounds like the 'previous owner' had removed a few performance mods before he sold the car, since the previous owner had 174rwkw then your mate gets 145rwkw then gets 167 with it chipped again?

I must be missing something :)

I also had one installed by JMM. Peak power didnt change, but drivability was increased - the car finally idled!

Just like all engine management - it's only as good as the tuner.

The downside to Unichip is having to go back to a Unichip dealer each time you want changes made...
