As above - I'm wanting to get my windows tinted (the darker the better), but I want to avoid the car looking trashy. Has anyone got a gunmetal ef with nice tint, and if so, can I have a look-see? :)

erk! No thanks... I'd like it to be bubble free for at least a year :D

Besides, however it gets tinted, i'd want it with warranty so I know the job is getting done right.

Have you got any showing it from the side without too much glare or light?

Can't really see how the windows contrast against the paint in those pics.

Yeah, maybe a bit closer up, but that looks good. What percentage tint is it?

I want a black tint, not one that looks red or grey in any lighting. I suppose I'd have to see it up close. I've always thought that only a dark car can get away with a dark tint without looking too out of place.

Looks good, I'm thinking of doing the same thing, 35% tint from tint-a-car looks sweet on gun metal falcons.

So you're not keen on the purple bubblewrap on the rear window demister ??? :P

You'll probably find it best to visit the place you intend to do your tinting, and have a look at their samples - you'll get a better idea than just looking at pics.
When I had my wagon done, they noticed a few of my electrical projects, and they mentioned they wanted an alarm fitted to one of their work vehicles, so I did the install and my tinting had a substantial discount. So it doesn't hurt to advertise these things - just in case.
