ok im thinking of getting an xy ute and dropping a 460 in it, to do this leaggly it mustn't exceed 10% of the power, weight or torque of any standed engine.

Ok so i'v ebeen told the xy gtho is arroud 400hp but i nee dto know offical fiqures.

also wahst teh weight and power of a 460 im thinking hopefully a newer 460 (one thast lighter)

other wise ill just geta blown 351

With CHI heads as good as they are now, stroker small blocks outrun big blocks these days. Check out Jegs Engine Masters Challenge where 5 of the top 6 were windsor blocked CHI headed engines. The FE and 385 Series Big Block fords got knocked out early in the piece....

ok so what would u recomend for $10000.

only thing i want is solid tuff motor 500hp+ would be good

For $11000 Pavtek could do close to 600hp with a standard clevo block. CHI heads seem to be the bomb these days.

I am spending somewhere around that number and chasing 500+ RWHP, wath my 383 Clevo build in the V8 Workshop.

there is an easy way around all of this.
first just stick a 351 windsor in it. get it mod plated and legal.
then buy a 400pluss cube windsor based crate engine and drop that in, have the engine number changed on your rego and away you go.

no one but your self has to know how many cubes are in there

a 351 winsor won't nee dto be mod plateed did soem xy come with those.

yea i had tuff 351c and the winsor is just so aliean to me but i guess parts form teh us are cheaper

Get a World 460ci windsor short and put the big port CHI heads and intake on it....just tell em it's a 351 8-)
