Just a quick question, after doing my BBM, should i put EL spark plugs in my ED, or the ED ones, because looking on the NGK website, the EL and ED part numbers for the plugs are different, or is there really no difference? Would the ECU be expecting the different spark from different plugs, or am I totally off the track?
Cheers. |

If you take the two part numbers, you can look on the NGK chart and shows what each letter and number means. Should help show the diference.
But remember the BBM is different on EL, and I think the ignition system to. |

hi
there shouldnt be to much difference in the plugs probably only heat range .. it wont make a difference to the ecu.. im using the ngk plugs listed for ef/el xr6 in my au engine and they are slightly longer than the std plug and one heat range colder.. and they work fine.. |
