Hi guys i have just had my fuel pump crap itself and my car is stuck in Altona. How long does it take to change a fuel pump and what is the steps i need to take in order to change one.

take 15 to 25 mins.

3 screws to take the plate off.
undo the big band.
2 long screw drivers to undo the black plastic ring (cross them over and twist, laver them against each other)
Undo the plugs.
Pull pump out.
New one in
black ring on (leave giant hose clamp off)
Looms back on
cover plate on.

The only trick is making sure it still seals and the fuel sender still works
