Hi, i am looking at buying a BA futura wagon, it has a scratched face on the speedometer 'glass'. Is this a replaceable item? or does it require the whole dash to be re-done?

Just after some thoughts...cheers

You may be able to polish out the scratch. Or get another one from a wreckers.

If you're going to buy a new one, you may as well try polishing it first. I've used Brasso (metal polish available at supermarkets) and believe it or not it works really well on clear plastic.

I've removed scratches that I thought were pretty big with this stuff.

Definitely worth a try.
