Having a hard time getting 225 65/R15 tyres, any one got them or know of a brand that produces them.

Why do you need 65 series? There are plenty of 225/60/15 tyres i know. Ive got a set on the car now, cost $115 each, not the best wearing tyre, but cheap for the width.

Got 205 65/R15's on the front, just want to fill the rear guards on the wagon out a bit more and gain a bit more traction on the 1/4 mile. Will the 60 series tyres make that much difference to the rolling diameter, speedo or looks.

The 225/60 is a better match for a 205/65 in regards
to rolling radius. 205/65/15 = 317.25 rr 225/60/15 = 319.50 rr 225/65/15 = 330.25 rr (Ive actually never seen this tyre size, anyway) |

Thanks EB92, looks like the 225 60/R15 are the go then. The 225 65/R15s seem to be an odd size, probably why I was having a hard time finding some. Cheers.
