need a new set of shocks for the EL. Went to a place near uni the other day for something else and thought i'd get a rough price while i was there. $110 a pair. Now im thinking that's pritty cheap for monroe Gas GT's. can that be right? or are they usually that cheap.
as well, i need a compleate bush set, front and back for the anti-roll bars front and back. poor car rolls then turns at the moment. wheres the best place, what brand and ~ how much?

yeah $110 sounds about right for GT Gas. I found them to be a bit bouncy in the a** end, but still better then the other monroe stuff.

Konis are reasonable, but poor compared to Bilsteins.
Buy billies, and never ever have to replace them. I have seen billys 5 seasons in a rally car old on the shock dyno come up within 5% of a brand new set.... Konis wear out, and really are over priced for what they are. Just my 2 cents. |
