Hi guys, just done a manual conversion, a week later im having a problem.
When i was driving in the city last night, when i took off it felt like the clutch failed, the rev's were slipping and it had NO GO at all.. .that lasted all night, now the next day.. it was fine.. a bit sluggy.. nothing as bad as what it was that night. Is my clutch gone? Now today, i adjusted the clutch cable a little cuz it was being a bit hard 2 get into gear and tried it, worked like a charm, bit easier to get into gear, but its like.. after 20 mins of driving i have to keep on adjusting it. how can i keep it that way? Okay, I'm assuming you've installed a new cable, and it's the correct one. Also assumed the pressure and clutch plate are new units.
1. Adjust the pedal correctly - 140+-3mm top of pedal pad to floor carpet. 2. Creep mark the adjusting nut to cable/firewall, so you can check for movement. 3. Operate the clutch and check for flex at the firewall, footpedal clevis, and check the throwout fork to cable setup also. 4. Also check the pedalbox/clutch pedal pin for flex also.

Yeah my guess is cracked firewall or busted pedal box. But as Snap said (and in my experience he's usually right ) start with simple stuff.
