Can anyone advise me on bypassing the low water sensor on the header tank as I dont have that option any more

don't have? Fix it dude! you require about a 1k resistor on the circuit? If you have to old sensore measure it to see what the open/closed resistance is. If you can't pm me and I will go measure one for you.
I highly recommend fixing it up though as low coolant is a leading cause of head gasket failures. |

You'll need a 180ohm resistor (or thereabouts). This is the easiest option as opposed to pulling the bulb out.
Agree with the statement that you should fix the system - very handy to have.
