I know first hand. when they wore out in my car, you couldn't notice because the outside of them was still intact. However they cause my car to toe-in and toe-out 20mm each way. So on the drive home from the Summernats to Melbourne, I DESTROYED the two brand new tyres on the front.
Cheers, Jason. Welcome to the club Jase... You're not the first, and certainly not the last with this problem. My theory is that it only effects EF/EL's with 17" rims. As my bushes died like 2,000km after putting the GT's on. And I can tell you 4 other people with the same problem, all since putting 17's on. I dont bother checking anymore. Just replace the front bushes every 12 months, regardless of their wear. The rubber is too expensive. |
