If you dont want to scrape her just go the lows not the superlows. I got superlows on my EF Falcon and I've had a few problems with scrapes.

Superlows do look better when you got good rims on it but you have to be alert for speedhumps that like to touch the underside of the car and curbs that arent friendly. Sometimes you forget and I tend to yell out "f**k!" a lot.

My EL has superlows, and the only scraping I have are my mud flaps, and no, i'm not taking them off. I guess it depends where you live and what the roads are like.

With only going to lows you can get away with keeping your shocks, superlows you'll need shorter shocks

This is my car with superlows

If you wanna know what the equivalent of installing lows on your car will look like scope out my gallery. I'm happy I didn't go with any lower as it still looks pretty decent without the damaging side effects of anything lower. :D

Hope that helps

And what shocks are you using?
I plan to lower and havnt done so as i cant find a good combo; i want height of inbetween lows n s'lows but dont want bouncy, gaurd hitting go kart ride.
Impossible so a few places have told me, maybe try pedders they suggest.

i'm getting king super lows this wednesday with koni red's put on all round. i'll post pics up when she's done

riding on 17"s too, should be a lot better than my current pedders springs and original stock shocks combo. esp since the shocks are gone :)

If you want to lower your car go see the guys at the suspension centre 93564591. they can lower your car to any hieght you want, right down to the mm and still have a mad ride. believe me the best when it comes to suspension. If your like me i love my ef's on there a** and mine is pretty low. honestly even super lows looks like a lift kit compared to mine plus i have 19"s on mine. And its all done with my standard springs. nNo king springs or pedders cause they give your car a hard ride. It'll have to be the lowest ef el ford ever. The Suspension Centre (9356-4591)

I have found when after I lowered my EL with just "lows" I was still scraping some Speed humps and some angled driveways too. I ended up scraping the s**t out of the Cat and then I had to replace it. I also have noticed heaps of other scraps up and down the bottom of my car after 3years of being lowered. But only cosmetic issues and besides no one looks underneath your car anyways. Be sure to replace shocks as well casue you will end up bottoming out all the time like I was doing for a while a couple of years back :D :D See link to pics of my lowered ride in Signature :D

I'm running Monroe GT Gas shocks. My car does ride like a go kart, not so much tyre scrapping, just you feel every bump in the road, and then some.

ive just got xr springs in my fairmont and it scraps on some speed humps, and i have to go up my drive on an angle so the back end doesnt scrap, so, even standard xr springs make a difference!
