hey guys super cheap has this (or similar) head unit for under $500 just wondering if its any good... they didn't have a display wired up to play with...

yeah i have it in my AU2 XR6 ute and it is great but thats wat i think

had one, but needed money so it had to go

Great unit, had the previous model installed, does everything, also suprisingly play PS2 on it isn't all that bad when you either play one player or a game along the line of teken where you don't need a split screen to play 2 player

what about inputs eg ipod?

Hey mate I got one and love it. DVD screen is small but good cos cops don't see, like the tilt function alot. Mine sits about 1cm in the dash, so when I turn the car on the headunit extends out and tilts up out of the dash (looks classy lol).



I also connected a red/white audio cable to the headunit with an adapter for going into headphone jacks under the dash so it comes out near the seat, to put iPods and MP3 players straight in. That way I can play stuff off my laptop or watch movies and have the sound through the car, quick easy way to do it.
