got a problem with my EL xr6 i purchased a couple of weeks ago. The alarm was installed when the car was new and on delivery i noticed that the light that is supposed to flash when the alarm is on, was constantly lit. tried turning the master key to no avail, and the alarm doesnt work at all. can anyone offer some info on this???

sounds like the alarm could be in a 'valet' mode, any little hiden switches around the car? ... if so, turn the ingition to the on or acc and flick the switch ..
