On the weekend I picked up some good second hand EL tail lights that are in better condition then the ones on my car, so I did some creative tinting and fitted them to my car. Now the lights that were on my car have now become my latest custom mod, which I started today by smashing the lenses off. Durring the week I will start finding all the suitable parts I need to complete my custom lights and try to start building them next week. So here are some pics of the new lights on the car and the start of the custom lights.

Very true.....The same when I had the tail light lenses tinted nice and dark on my MK2 Escort coupe, Never once did I get hassled. I guess it all depends on the cop. I reckon it's the young rookie cops that are the worst.....Trying to prove themselves to their superiors.

there are alot of cars that have the smoked rear lights from the factory, so when you use the spray tint as long as you dont go to dark then no coppers will hassel you
