Hi all.
im just playin around with my Reef Green EF atm, bought it some BA xr8 18" options and a lukey exhaust, and just toyin with the idea of removing the wing... now besides doing the gettho option and puttin tape over the holes. or getting the holes filled and sanded then repainted, is there any other way of doing it? i've looked for just a new boot lid but cant find out, and dont know how much they'll be.... cheers, heres a pic

maybe get a touch-up bottle of reef green paint (code: W4) and fill the holes with paint until its level

Easiest option is to just buy another bootlid - around $50 or so and get it sprayed to suit your car.
I've had bootlids filled before, and they always crack where they were filled after a while. Very hard to get a straight job if they're welded too. When I removed the GT wing on my last EL, as I wasn't planning on keeping the car, I went the hobo option and used rubber blanking grommets for the wholes. Looked reasonably neat and wasn't that noticeable. |
