Gas research kits cost $700 more than any Parnell, Impco or any other brand I've know of.

Why are they better?

$700 is a lot more money.

Impco I've been quoted $2600 and $3300 for gas research

The topic of " Gas Research Vs Other setup " has been beaten a lot around the net. Basically it depends on the car you have to what system you want to run. The benefit of gas research is that you can replace a car's throttle body with the gas carby and have very little intake restriction, compared to some impco or other brand systems.

For some older cars, gas research is the way to go if you wanna go straight gas, like in my Turbo torana. I have a 440cfm gas research carby on it.

Search the forums & the net, you will find much on the topic.

Cheers

ToranaGuy
