Hi there i am going to try install a trip computer in my car, eb xr6 and i am just wondering if they will work with aftermarket computer, mine is a EMS stinger and just want to know if it will work before i start thanks

short answer is probably no.

i'm running microtech on mine and everything works except it requires a data line from the ecu which gives it a inaccurate reading as its not getting the correct info due to the fuel and spark etc being run by microtech. not sure if ems is the same. i've been told to try tap into an injector wire as that may work but i'm too lazy.

everything works except l/100km's is about 4l/100km's too economical and the dte doesn't count down in km's but still good enough to go by as it gives an idea.

eb v8: low loud and fast. just how a v8 should be. i guess the big question is, is it fast enough...
