Hi all just wondering if anyone knows weather a single din dvd unit with flip out lcd can be mounted where the factory cd and audio controls are? i.e. can the cd component be removed and the facia modded to fit the new unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Not really, Just put it where everyone else does.

Where you want it, is part of the cars computer system.

In the tissue box holder.

that looks so s**t, they hit the shifter when opening and also cover other controlls of the console. In a new car having something like that is an eyesore

Put it where the passenger airbag should be in a custom moulding.

u can keep the factory look and upgrade it all and turn the screen into a dvd screen i would not bother about a single din unit in a ba ...you chould always mount it in the glovebox if your that keen

theres a few audio companies now that do upgrades for ICC's to play dvd's etc.
The people id reccomend are ASL logistics in melbourne as they make the units for ford.
