Wanting to know if there is a trick or nack to installing the clutch\brake pedal box into an XE falcon. Currently 3 spd Auto, 4 spd Man going in.

it's easier if you remove the steering column, however can be done without.

The way I did the one I did was to remove the steering column, Undo all the nuts holding the auto pedal box in. Remove the brake boster, remove the pedal box.

reverse the procedure for putting the manual one back in....

Wasnt hard, just time consuming....

HellBent it's a bit of a fiddle but you unbolt the steering column down at the floor and under the dash so that it can be raised and lowered.

Use a long socket to remove the pedal box bolts and then wriggle it out.

When you go to put the manual pedal box in remove the brake and clutch pedals. But put the pin for the brake pedal back in before sliding between column and dash (you'll see what I mean).

Just before you get it fully in put the brake pedal and clutch pedals back onto the box.

The reason for this is that you can't get the pedal box in with the pedals on and you can't get the pin in once the pedal box is in place under the dash.

Shouldn't take more than an hour.

We did a conversion on my ZL and it took about 5 hours from start to finish.

you dont need to remove the pedals, so long as the bolts for it are out, i had no problem doing it with the pedals on.
