Some AU models don't have them at all, so it can't be too much of a problem.

gee... that is getting pretty "piccy".. thought if you had a genuine xr6 engine "The badge of honour" that keeps most happy is the "RED rocker cover".. The "T" is not something hugely noticable...

i have mine, hangin up in my car hold... first thing that was ripped of the grandpa spec car when i got it actually...

p.s. the "T" on the head, is more "the badge of honour" than the rocker cover, ive seen a few "xr6's" that have had reco heads that say 94dt on the front :(

Correct me if im wrong but no Barra (BA-BF) engine has a belt guard fitted. I have the Tickford engine in my El Ghia with the red rocker cover and the guard stays as the power steer pump looks bare and ugly uncovered!!

that "T" that you two are both glorifying is simply a casting to differentuate between the normal heads vs a "Tickford" head.. and is in no way a special badge or a plaque as if it sits in a special place "ATOP" of the engine or ontop of the air box like current ba's (FPV badges) without the cover on the front of the engine bay look a lil grose.. (uncovered..)
