Hey wasnt sure where to post this, but i have a ED XR8 which was in a light front ender.

The car had a few blown fuses, so i swapped some around in order to get the boot lid release to work, which was fine.

BUT now i have replaced all the blown fuses with new ones, nothing is happening..?
I cant open boot, door locks dont move, put key in ignition and turn and nothing.

What could have i done/blown?

It has been raining since i last opened the boot, but i cant see why that would cause a problem..? bonnet was down n stuff

Any ideas?

first thing i would check would be the batterey itself in case you have stabbed it when you had the tap ,then check leads im sure one of them is a fusable link.

Yes has smartlock.

Weird thing is that the other day i managed to get the boot release to work but now nothing at all, its as if the battery isnt even connected.

Battery is on charge at the moment, will go over the terminals and leads again tomorrow.

The car is being pulled apart next week anyways, but would like to know whats casued this and see if i cant get it started again, and open the boot also :)

Thanks

Check your fusable links, should be from the battery to connectors. Usually Black, red, green. They act as big fuses to stop wiring burnouts etc.

well after playing with a few things I got power back to the dash, and clock/doors n stuff are working.

But i know think the battery may be open circuiting and apply any sort of load and it drops out. Hard to tell without multimeter... will borrow one and a battery from work later theis week :)
