How would a stock EB 5.0 with only cometic head gaskets and head studs go with 8psi? Or 10psi? On a daily driven car, only with the occasional bit of stick? Old man bought a set of manifolds of ebay a while ago, was gunna put them on a mustang, but sale fell through, and he's keen to throw it on the eb wagz?

It will take up to 400 rwhp.. With good tune!!
That means atleat 42 Lb injecors and maf.. Along with fuel pump to supply enough fuel .. A Bosch 044 or Walbro 255 .... You ignition timing will need some attention.. Initial timing IMO start at 4* initial advance... Yep they go well on 8 to 10 lb... While heads are off, try machining chambers to lower compression alittle.. 8.8 is about right.. 9 to 1 is alittle high especially with std eec... Make sure head and block surfaces are absolutley smooth or you'll get leaks....With Cometic gaskets... The internals / rotating assembly of a healthy 5.0 is much stronger than block!!!! http://www.turbomustangs.com/stockblock.php http://www.turbomustangs.com/knowledge.php Hope this helps...

The motor will be fine, as long as its in good working order before the blower goes on.
I give mine hell when i drive it around a little. Done well over 100 runs down the quarter mile and she still runs like great. *Touch wood* |

How would 24lb injectors go on around 6-8 psi-ish? Car is an auto so it wouldn't see high revs often, saying that would they max out?

Imo atleast 30 Lb and 36 Lb injectors are cheap as ....
The ignition advance curve is border line and having lean a.f is the last thing you need... Keep to high impedance injectors and you'll be fine.. Don't go over 65 Lb... Plenty here to chose from.. it would be far better buying injectors and maf as they should be calibrated to run together...Make sure maf is calibrated for injector flo... http://www.corral.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=323
