I've heard of a lot of those ebay headlights melting inside. Hopefully your's don't do the same, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Genuine EF/EL lights will melt with 100W bulbs, seen a few do it yourself d***head burn a hole through the driving light side and then try to claim warranty when EF/EL still had factory warranty. Another thing to try is to use "Skins" headlight protectors, my EL lights still look like new under the skins, no yellow but like any protectors they have to be replaced too.
