Anyone know what to put on the bottom pressure hose to stop it leaking?
Au pump > EF hose. I tried stag paste on treads but it seems to be with centre swivel part |

The nut holds a c clip and an o ring inside - you'll need to fit a new nut, or fit another hose with a new nut fitted.
You best remove the hose to do it properly - be careful though as they are fiddly to do - plus the c clip needs to be seated properly - otherwise it will pop off and drain the system while running in about 10 secs. The earlier E series use a stationary hose and nut, IIRC all you need to replace is an o ring. I think these hoses will fit, so it may be the better option.

The hose (going into the pump nut) didn't have any C-clip or O-ring on the end of the fitting, is this what you mean?
It has backward/forewards movement when installed, is this normal? Dan edit I've used TQ95 instead of DexIII (since I had a heap of it left over from the tranny flush) , will this make any difference - ie thinner?- more leaks?? |

pretty sure its a 5\8ths open ender for the middle nut and a 1" open ender for the pressure valve. Just undo it and change the o-ring, too simple.
Or buy a new pump from me and a hose elsewhere and replace the lot. That should do ya lol Theres no clips of any kind where you are talking about....snap
