Hi guys I have an EBII XR8 and was wondering what a nice air intake setup would be.
Its pretty standard all I have done is FULL SVO 2.5"Exhaust incl. headers. A K&N Panel filter and some iridium plugs. I'm interested in getting the Edelbrock performer or RPMII intake. Would that be suitable on my engine? I would also like to get a bigger snorkel any suggestions?? Do any tickford ones bolt straight in?? I also have my eye on an 1997-1999 v6 Explorer plenum with 65mm TB and IAC would this fit into my car without any dramas or is it a mission? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Welcome to the forums Optimus, the Performer intake manifold would be the most suitable, however a new set of heads and will also be needed before you see any meaningful hp gain.
The V6 plenum & TB won't fit the V8.

as said above, prob not worth spending the money on a new manifold only to be held back by the crapy e7 heads. with the price of a new manifold ya could pick up a second hand set of 40p heads and maybe a explorer intake aswel, this will give you a nice litle gain over standard. the explorer manifold isnt that bad with a bit of work done on the lower half.
