The last guy that owned my car was a smoker (well, the ashtray has been used a fair bit so I assume that's why.. :)) So maybe that could have something to do with it.

Oh and for people that aren't reading the thread on the dash mods then I did this this afternoon and now everything works a treat ! Very happy with the result. All I did was wipe the copper contacts with some metho + tissue and it's very good now. :D

I've got a slightly related question, but about the standard air con controls. How do you change the light bulbs? (My A/C light is out (the illumination, not the status indicator).

Does the face part unclip the same way the climate control face bit does?

i spose that pretty much on the topic.. i'd assume it would be very similar. once u get the dash off it would be very easy to see what to do.
