i dont have a timing light so not sure how much i should advance it... so i might leave it alone at this stage :O plus i have a 1000k trip this coming weekend and dont want to break it ;). yeah not sure what the noise is, who knows, F**k it, its not very loud, not taking the rocker cover off again for awhile :D

the time i spent screwing with the shims i could have changed 3 cam's LOL. my idle could be cos its a manual. its true there isnt very many dyno results for the r3 cams about the place. on friday im guessing it will maybe get 130's / low 140 if really lucky, it had 122.7 on the same dyno with the stock cam. it still has completely stock intake on it, and a pretty quiet exhaust. if it gets 12x i'll be pretty p****d off after the time i spent f**k with it!!!
:P

its hard to compare these cams because (to my knowedge) there specs were never released... all i know is the rspec3 has a lsa of 112 (compared to 114 for stock cam i think), and enough lift to need new springs...

My RPD spec 3 did not have the whir, but my spec 6 does. its pretty loud too. sounds good though. It has run just under 150 rwkw's at intune motorsport. the AFR's show pretty rich but the economy says otherwise. I drive pretty heavy when not in traffic and pull close to 500 out of a tank. made good gains on the track to.. I don't run ¼'s though.. well not for ages.. so no times to report there. but in all I am happy with it.
