Hi, just wondering what type of headlight bulb i have in my EF Fairmont? H3? Is it ok to put a higher wattage one in?
Also, wanting to improve vision cause the night visibilty sucks, and wanting peoples opinions on the bright white globes on eBay that can be had for $15 including postage!!! |

Think you have H4's. dont go high wattage. use +50, ultra blue ect.

when i replaced my headlights in the xr8 they were h3's
in my ed i had phillips crystal vision. i found they were allot brighter then standard globes thus vastly improving night time drivabilty, but as a pitfall they don't throw the light that far in front of the car. to me the light beam distance was shorter than standard. before i put phillips crystal vision in the ed i was using phillips blue vision. i found these to be a great all rounder. brighter white light and great light beam distance. also with these i had aimed the headlights up a little improving visible distance but annoying the s**t out of oncoming traffic and also the people driving in front of me. atm im running narva arctic globes in my xr and find they are a very bright white light and also giving reason light beam distance. personnaly i would recomend the blue vision's but they are about $100 a pair from burson (don't get them from autobarn as they will try to hit you up for a hundred bucks a globe) but if you don't have that kind of cash then narva arctics globes can be bought from repco at a price of $40 - $45 a pair. cheers

Thanks for the info
I too thought they were H3's but ive also heard the Mont's had H4 globes, i might pull them out when ive got time. Reason i want to replace them because the night visibilty is shocking, might as well run the parkers at night.... same outcome!! |
