Howdy all,

Just looking for some figures here on how many gorillas I will need to save to get myself the following:

Headers
Twin 2.5" system
High Flow Cats
Dual dumps

Also any suggestions regarding exhaust system on the boss 260 would be much appreciated...

Cheers

Dave-o

Go for Di Filippo. 2k will get you headers, cats, single 3" and a nice sound :) In my opinion it sounds better than twin 2.5"

If its auto the single 3" can drone like a b**ch, hence why i went dual 2 1/2.

Currently i have
Pacemaker headers $895
APC Custom Mandrel Stainless dual 2 1/2 $1600

Im yet to install Cats, but beleive they can be around $600 to $800 for a pair.

Thats funny about the drone. I didnt think it would on an auto. My twin 2.5" drones like a b**ch, i hate it. If you got the cash and want a real sound get a Di Filippo big boy system

i dunno, i had a single 3 cat back on, before changing it to dual 2 1/2, and i can honestly say that the single 3 was a b**ch... but each to there own.

All the power is in replacing the headers 10-15rwkw, you will be lucky to get 5rwkw out of a cat back system, just the better sound.
Dont replace your cats, have them adapted to suit your new headers.
So called Hi-flow cats are a waste of money, i have had them on my Pursuit with back to back dyno runs and they made 0 rwkw difference

dynowog - everything i've seen for them has been good quality. The quality of pacies are pretty good but performance wise i'd take the di filippos. And i agree that twin systems are drony, though suprisingly i didnt find the big boy system drony at all :? I thought it would be

So would general concensus be difillipo headers - twin 2.5" system??

And if I allow $2500 would this cover it??

if i were you, i'd have a look at the herrod systems, i've heard good reports on them, you probably dont need stainless steel from cat back either so just go mild steel and your $2500 should do it nicely
