i am about to do my head gasket, so i thought while it is off i would get it checked and skimmed.
Does anyone know a good place to take the head to and how long it usaually takes. i am just wondering what it will cost and how long my car will sit in the driveway. 
also, should i get the gaskets and bolts through the head place, from repco, or from fraud.

usually they change over the head unless its modified.
around $350-400 Ford only for the AU head gasket. $85ish AU bolts and other crap from anywhere. $50 Get some CRC Gasket Stripper, RTV blue, Exhaust gasket, Inlet, all Water pipes, Tectaloy gold inhibitor,

Not unless they have one in stock (its not like they're really rare)
Prolly around $500 c/o or 2 days for machining and expect the usual 'yeh we had to weld it and straighten it' and charge you for nothing.

hi-tech cylinder heads in malaga mate. got them to do mine today.
90 bucks for skim and pressure test.
