i know that the rear inner brackets are different but how hard is it to make em fit??

need to make up a bracket OR get a peice of round tubbing weld it to the bottom of the bracket and get another tub smaller than the orginal and slot it in the first tube and get a bolt roughly with the same head type (as no to get susspions) and length of the tube plus a little more then the length of the tube
But i say this i haven't put it into practice and it is highly not legal...

Don't think so.
I put "universal" buckets into my EA Ghia and had a prick of time making up brackets to adapt the rails to the seat. I would've thought the idea of EB rails on EL seats would work.

I hope it is just that simple.
I have read that ppl end up sitting higher with EF/EL seats in EA-ED cars. Someone who has done this will hopefully let us know. BenJ

ok next week i am going to take on the challenge i will remove a seat and see if you can bolt the el seat to the eb frame i will keep you posted

yep u do sit a lil higher,,and if your short and usally have your seat all the way forwd u will notice its a tiny bit further back.,,i just cut the inner foot off some eb rails and had them welded on to the ef seats and u got to grind a small pin off to get the foot to sit rite..also u gain about 2inches of space at the base of the rear seat..take your consol out when doin it and be carful of damaging anything lifting seats in,,i had to put them in and take em out a few times to get it where i wanted it before welding

So did you find the conversion worthwhile?
